In My Mailbox (21)

In My Mailbox at The Story Siren

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren, and inspired by her friend, Alea of Pop Culture Junkie. It's a way to share the books that you've received over the past week. They could come from the bookstore, the library, a friend, your mailbox or wherever. It gives us all a chance to showcase the books that we've gotten, and maybe give others an idea for the book they want to read or buy next. :)

For Review:

Pieces of Us by Margie Gelbwasser (Netgalley)
Ripper by Amy Carol Reeves (Netgalley)
Revived by Cat Patrick (Hachette Book Group Canada)
Touch of Frost by Jocelyn Adams (J. Taylor Publishing)

I requested a couple from Netgalley this week because they sounded awesome! :D I'm excited to read them! I also got Touch of Frost from J. Taylor Publishing, and Revived from the Hachette Book Group Canada and I'm psyched to read them! I'm definitely going to read Revived over my break, can't wait! :D Thanks to J.Taylor Publishing, and to Kaitlin at Hachette Canada! :D

Bought:

If We Kiss by Rachel Vail (The Book Cellar - Campus Bookstore)
Love and Peaches by Jodi Lynn Anderson (The Book Cellar - Campus Bookstore)
Not Suitable for Family Viewing by Vicki Grant (The Book Cellar - Campus Bookstore)
All I Want for Christmas by Ros Clark (Amazon Kindle Store)
Tortured (Birthmarked #1.5) by Caragh M. O'Brien (Amazon Kindle Store ---FREE!)

I bought a few books on campus this week, and they all sound like cute or funny reads. :) I saw All I Want for Christmas for Kindle and couldn't resist getting it in time to read for Christmas, and Tortured finally released! I read it already, and it's awesome. Well, not awesome in the way that I'm happy about what happened in it, but awesome because it's Leon's POV, and I love him! : D

Gifted:

The Kissing Tree by Prudence Bice (x 2)

Prudence was so nice! After I participated in her blog tour she offered to send me a signed copy of her book to gift to someone for Christmas, and she surprised me with two copies! :D I'm going to give one to my mom, and the other will get its place on my shelf. :)

Thanks again to Netgalley, J. Taylor Publishing, Kaitlin at Hachette Book Group Canada, and Prudence! You are all awesome! :D

So, what did you get in your mailbox? Feel free to leave a link to your IMM in the comments, and I'll try to check them out during study breaks. ;)

Happy Reading!!!

  1. Oh I have that Vicki Grant book! They were giving them away and she was signing them the year I was volunteering at the OLA Conference. I've read it, and it's pretty cute. I really loved the Canadian setting, although I have to say it felt so foreign compared to Ontario.

Enjoy all your new books! =)
